The Celtics travel to Indiana to face the Pacers in a rematch of last game. Boston erupted offensively, ripping off a 119-110 win behind Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum’s efforts, with the duo combining for 67 PTS.
On the Celtics’ duo leading the charge, Udoka said “It obviously makes everything a lot easier. Looking for that to be a regular thing.”
“It feels great,” said Brown. “Both of us get engaged that way.”
Tatum said “It makes it easier for us to both be involved…I think when we both make shots, we’re that much tougher, especially to guard.”
“We’ve been through a lot of adversity so far this season,” said Brown. “So it’s time to start changing some of that adversity into positive production. And I think that we’re capable — we’re ready — for that.”
On whether or not he was satisfied with the win and the team’s winning streak, Brown said “No. No satisfaction whatsoever. Not at all. We just got back to .500. … We’re playing some good ball right now. We gotta keep it up. I’m focused on just keep going. That’s it. Not satisfied.”
